Mechanics and Servicing

Our Cytech certified mechanics offer a range of servicing options at our Bristol and Derby studios. So whether you require a custom bike built to the most exacting standards, a pre race tune up or complete strip down and rebuild of your precious machine we can help. Road, Tri and MTB bikes catered for.

Levels of Service and Pricing

Standard Service- £90

Our standard service option includes the following...

Frame and fork: Wipe down and check for alignment and damage

Wheels - Rims checked for wear and damage, spoke tension check and wheel true

Tyres - Check for wear and damage and correct inflation pressure

Bottom bracket - Cleaned, check for wear and re-greased

Drivetrain - Cassette removed, cleaned and checked for wear. Chain cleaned and checked for wear

Brakes - Pads checked for wear, brakes adjusted and checked for effective operation. Inner cables replaced.

Gears - Indexing checked and adjusted. Inner cables replaced.

Additional parts will be charged at retail price. No parts will be fitted without prior permission from the bike owner.

Bike Build - £100

Build a complete bike from a collection of new or used components.

DOES NOT INCLUDE WHEEL BUILD CHARGE.

Complete Service - Bike Strip Down and Rebuild - £150

Includes all steps of our standard service plus a complete strip down, clean and rebuild of every component on the bike (excluding STI levers)

Other Work

Other work including wheel building is billed at an hourly rate of £40 per hour - minimum charge 30 minutes.
