A true Italian handbuilt masterpiece! The Maxima RS2 frame and fork represents the ultimate in handmade Italian craftsmenship. One of the few truly custom made carbon bikes in the world with every tube being hand layed and wrapped specifically for the indivudual rider. Carefully selected carbon is used to create tubes with high strength and extremely low void content. Each one tailored to the requirements of the rider. Ride and handling characteristics are tuned to obtain the bike of your dreams!
The 2012 Maxima RS2 sees a complete re-design from previous models. The front triangle introduces variable thickness conical “square” geometry in the down tube and top tube increasing the stiffness and stability of the bike whilst maintaining fabulous comfort. The rear triangle now sees re-designed box section tubes to increase rigidity without influencing the handling or comfort.
Available with your choice of bottom bracket fitting (BSA, BB30 or Press Fit), with integrated or standard seat post. Choose external, internal or Di2 specific cable routing.

For each customer ordering a custom carbon frame from Bike Science we offer our unique custom bike fitting package
Step 1. A set of measurements are taken to assess the individual riders morphology
Step 2. Rider flexibility is assessed and recorded
Step 3. Rider "interview" to discuss requirements for the new frame, rider injury history and future riding goals
Step 4. Rider is observed riding their current bike (if applicable) using the Retul 3D motion capture system
Step 5. Our completely adjustable fitting bike is used along with the Retul 3D motion capture system to determine the indiviuduals perfect frame dimensions
Step 6. Our highly skilled fitters work along side Viner frame technicians to create a frame perfectly tailored to the rider requirements
Step 7. On completion of the bike build a second fitting using Retul 3D motion capture is performed to set up the new bike to the optimum position
