This Service can also be used as a pre-purchase sizing session for any make or mode bike - Charge - £45 Payable on the day
To ensure that each of our clients is provided with exactly the bike they need, we offer an appointment based service for customers looking at buying any bike. This session provides time for us to accurately size the bike for you and discuss specification.
Bristol - Sales Consultations
Bristol - Level 1. 2D Bike Fit - £89.99
Our Level 1 static fit uses traditional static fitting methods. Ideal for more novice riders aiming at a comfortable position, or enough time to use the fitting jig to investigate geometry options for a new bike purchase.

Bristol - Level 2. Retul 3D Bike Fit
Our Level 2 dynamic fit uses Retul 3D motion capture technology to ensure the most accurate level of fit available. Ideal for competitive riders, or those struggling with a persistent injury. Every aspect of rider motion on the bike is considered. Rider strength and flexibility, cleat position, knee movement and the position of all contact points on the bike are adjusted as necessary

Bristol - Level 3. Retul 3D Bike Fit - £259.99
Our Level 3 dynamic fit offers the same level of service as the Level 2 fit, but is for ONE rider with TWO different types of bike (TT, Road or MTB)

Bike Science Bristol - Facilities
Bike Science's Bristol fit studio is equipped with the very best bike fit tools available. Our Exit Cycles fit bike can be used to replicate the geometry of any bike, road, triathlon or mtb. Adjustments can be made for all possible frame angles and sizes, stem and crank lengths, plus our selection of sample bars and saddles are always available to try. Try ANY bike out for size BEFORE YOU BUY! Our Exit Cycles Fit bike was the first in the world to be fitted with a Cyclops Powerbeam Pro resistance unit for accurate power measurement during the fitting process. Prefer to be fitted on your own bike? Computrainer turbo trainers are used to ensure accurate power measurement.
Retul 3D Motion Capture Tecnology
The Bike Science Bristol bike fit studio is equipped with a state of the art Retul 3D Motion Capture system and Retul Zin bike measurement tool. Like no other system before it, Retul enables bike fitters to take accurate dynamic measurements of rider motion while the rider is pedalling under realistic loads. 3D tracking allows measurement of all significant body angles and frontal plane knee motion to be measured to accuracies of less than a mm. Bike Science Bristol is also one of the few locations in the UK to be equipped with a fully adjustable Exit Cycles fit bike allowing the fitter to replicate the position of any bike brand, type or geometry. Andy Sexton : Bike Science Head Fitter
Head fitter and founder and owner of Bike Science Andy Sexton was only the second fitter in the UK to gain Retul certification, a British Triathlon Level 2 coach and qualified sports massage therapist. He worked as head of road and triathlon sales for Planet X bikes for four years before starting Bike Science, fitting over five hundred riders during that time.
Scott Cornish : Bristol Fitter, Physiotherapist and Masseur
Scott Cornish is an experienced long distance mountain bike stage racer and chartered physiotherapist. Scott performs bike fits in our Bristol studio as well as all physiotherapy and massage consultations.
